I use the simple Bigify tweak and 5 column springboard to make a nice small icon 5 across. The problem is it doesn't shrink the application names. Is there a simple app similar to Bigify that will accomish this task to reduce the text size of the app names?

Yes - the tweak you want is called Shrink from phoenix3200. I think it's $1.99. He also makes MoreIcons, which is rock solid.

You'd use shrink instead of bigify

Grrr... with Shrink, my choice is either 50%, which is too small, or 66% which is too big. Why can't it have a slider, or "Custom" option like Bigify? I think I'm going to have to stick with Bigify or it'll drive me nuts.

If you're savvy enough, you can edit the Shrink PLIST file and make your own increments.

Too much hassle for too little benefit. :)

Just wish they'd give me a check box in bigify to shrink the text too :)
