Any way to do a 1:1 transfer of my OS X partition to another drive?

I basically installed a second internal SSD with Optibay on my MacBook and I want to use it for OS X 10.10 and expand the original first internal drive for Windows 7 use.

To be clear Ideally I would like to be able to move everything involving OS X 10.10 to the second internal drive from the first internal drive and expand my bootcamp partition to encompass the entire first internal drive.

Of course at the end of the day I want to still be able to hold option and just choose which drive to boot into.

Any kind of software available to accomplish this, or perhaps guides? Thanks!

Clear Copy Cloner, Super Duper, or Disk Utility will work. I prefer CCC. It is quick and even clones the recovery partition.

How did you install and run a SSD in your optibay? I thought you couldn't run a SSD in that slot. It has been my understanding, that you have to run the SSD from the same place the HDD was, and place an HDD in the optibay.

Basically I just ran the new SSD with an Optibay where the old SuperDrive was. The old HDD was replaced by an SSD awhile back. SuperDrive is based on a SATA connection so it works out. Sorry if I was confusing, it definitely can be done. I'm doing it now.

My early-2011 13" boots from its SSD in the Optibay, it runs at 6G speed to so no downside. Some (many?), machines don't like that config however and end up running the SSD from the HDD bay and the HDD running at 3G speed in the Optibay.

The "some" or "many" must be what I have been reading in a lot of posts, which led me to that wrong conclusion. Thanks for the correction.

Its an easy view to come to, on one thread I think I was the only confirmed case of an 2011 w/SSD running at 6G in the Optibay and logging zero errors in DriveDX....
