Hey guys,

I'm about to get an iPad because I'm going to be traveling a lot over the next 3 months and would rather not lug a laptop. Any chance there's a way to make Skype or something similar work so I can see my family and they can see me on the road? I saw that you can do it with an iPhone, but I don't have an iPhone. Any other options? Bluetooth camera? Something like that?

Thanks!

Mike

Even if you could use a camera via Bluetooth (there are a couple of attempts out there) what application would you use? Skype on the iPad is voice only. Possibly when the new OS comes out, but nothing there now.

Hmm...there are several IM programs with video ability, but I guess not for the ipad? I'm sure the next gen will have one, but I hit the road in 3 weeks. Oh well...
