My ATT line is private so when I call others it shows up as private, this is the way I want it to function. There are certain people in my phonebook who I want to display my caller ID to so I prepend their number with *31# which unblocks my number only for that call.

When using Siri it's unable to call that number because of the prepend. Anyone know of a way around this to make it work?

Have you tried adding it in front of the contact's number in your Contacts? Not sure if it would work, but I don't see why not.

Hmm.... I have it in as *31#xxxxxxxxxx, is there a different way to enter in the number with a prepend? That's what Siri tries dialing and fails, Sire just says "Sorry I can't call number", but Siri can call any other non prepended number just fine.

I don't think so. It looks like Siri doesn't like numbers that start with * or #.
