Any way to get text messages from instagram?

hey guys, quick question, so i have text messages enabled for twitter and facebook (just for important notifications) and i also want to enable the reciving of a text message on instagram for example when someone new follows me ill get a text on my phone that i have a new follower, i can't find any setting in the instagram app to enable text notifications, can someone please help me ? Thank you.

Instagram doesn't appear to offer that type of service.

text messages? do u mean push notifications? all i know is that u can enable push notifications for certain people you follow. so if they upload something new you get a pop up on your screen

No, he means text messages. Not something Instagram offer at this time as far as I know.

You could download If from the App Store. You set up recipes for actions. Something along the lines of if I get a new follower on Instagram then send me a text.

I just looked it seems IF only has triggers that go outside the scope of what the in app notifications do. That sort of makes sense since you can already get notified in Notification Center and see it there. The text would be superfluous.
