My son tends to fall asleep watching videos on his iPad. The problem is that the iPad doesn't turn off (sleep) when he's watching YouTube videos because the "related videos" just keep playing on and on. The iPad inevitably gets fairly warm (presumably because it's plugged-in and playing videos sitting on the pillow next to him with inadequate ventilation).
I can solve this problem by having him use the YouTube app to watch videos, but the YouTube app doesn't show/allow commenting. So he watches in Safari... which shows/allows comments, but you can't turn off the auto play "related videos" feature.
I've tried every system preference I can think of on the iPad, every YouTube.com preference at the account level, and every iOS app preference I can find. No joy.
Does anyone have a solution?
iPad 4, latest iOS version, plugged-in with Apple's power adapater
PS: Please spare me the parenting advice.
