An EyeTV product from Elgato? No idea if there is one suitable for Directv, we don't have that in the UK...

No EyeTV products work with DIRECTV.

depends on what you're doing with them

my eyetv hybrid "works" with directv

it can't control the box but I have the signal input form the box through the s-video in on the hybrid and I record shows all the time

I just set the directv box to change to a show when i want to record it

and then set a manual recording for the eyetv

it's not seamless but it works just fine

my eyetv is great only for digital not for cable analog connections
