If I upgrade to Mountain Lion (from Lion) is there a way to keep my current iTunes 10.7? The new iTunes does away with cover flow, and I happen to like cover flow and want to keep my current iTunes, but there are other aspects of Mountain Lion I like.

Is this possible, or if I upgrade to Mountain Lion and I going to have to be stuck with the new non-cover flow version of iTunes?

Mountain Lion does not include the latest version of iTunes by itself... iTunes 11 needs to be updated separately via Software Update on the Mac App Store or offline installer.

If you have iTunes 10.7 already installed on Lion, I don't see why you have to worry about that when updating to ML...

Ok, thanks - that's good to know! I thought iTunes was part of the OS. In that case I may go ahead and try to upgrade to ML. :apple:
