I have been having this issue with my ipod, & posted about it, I went back & reconverted the album with skipping songs, & reloaded it to my ipod & it worked. But how do I make sure my albums do not do this without having to tediously go through every album to be sure it does not skip, I have 300 + mp3 albums, & dont have time for this.

This is not an oddity with digital audio. Would like to know what your running. A PC or Mac? How where files imported originally?

I am using a 2010 macbook pro, with itunes 10.1.2, the files are mp3 encoded with lame with a windows only program called dbpoweramp batch converter that I run through paralells desktop 5.0.

when I have the albums encoded into mp3 from dbpoweramp, I shut down windows on my mac, open itunes on the mac side & load the albums into it & sync to my ipod.
