iPhone Any way to replace ">" on the lockscreen slider?

Install customLS, you can then change it to whatever you choose.

What is the difference between these two files? I see they are slightly different sizes. Different colors also?

glinty-band-chevron is 26x56 and a little thinner than glinty-chevron, which is 20x46. Other than that, I don't know.

If you have Flex 2, I submitted a patch to the cloud that does this. It's called Hide Unlock Screen Chevron.

True but you can enter your own custom text, and in doing so you can have 'slide to unlock' without the chevron

This does not work. You can change the text with customLS but cannot use this tweak to get rid of the chevron.

You're right, I used something else to get rid of the chevron. I assumed it was customLS but it was DynamicText instead.
