I want to replace the ">" with a custom graphic. Can you do that in iOS 7?

You can manually replace the files:
/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/SpringBoardFoundation.framework/glinty-band-chevron@2x.png
/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/SpringBoardFoundation.framework/glinty-chevron@2x.png

There are many programs on cydia to do this using winterboard just google how to change ios7 slider

Any way to replace ">" on the lockscreen slider?

What is the difference between these two files? I see they are slightly different sizes. Different colors also?

glinty-band-chevron is 26x56 and a little thinner than glinty-chevron, which is 20x46. Other than that, I don't know.

True but you can enter your own custom text, and in doing so you can have 'slide to unlock' without the chevron :p

This does not work. You can change the text with customLS but cannot use this tweak to get rid of the chevron.

I'm trying to find a cool Punisher slider for ios7. Maybe I'll have to make one.

You're right, I used something else to get rid of the chevron. I assumed it was customLS but it was DynamicText instead.
