Any way to stop the 3G service notice on iPad?

Is there any way to stop the aggravating 3G service notice from popping up each time you lose a wifi signal?

I didn't see an actual switch for that in the settings like the iPhone. Is that the same as "cellular data"?

yes.. and i always turn off my 3G when i'm at home..
