Okay, we have an Apple TV in the living room and love it, however was wondering if there is any way to stream video to our iPhones? For watching TV other places in the house, etc. I'm not looking for HTTP streaming, unless setting that up and then connecting to the local IP works well enough.
Seems like since iTunes is more than happy to share with the Apple TV it's running a server, and the movies/audio are already iPhone compatible it should work. I'm sure there won't be a official solution unless it's a paid app as w/a Composite AV Cable this would pretty much replace (Aside from lower resolution.) the Apple TV, but are there any apps/workarounds for this?

I'm pretty sure I've seen a couple media server apps either in Cydia or in the App store. I'm not sure if they do Video too though or if they would work with the Apple TV.

So I think what you're looking for is out there somewhere.
