Any word on a web player for Apple Music.

I really hate iTunes and I want a web player like Play Music, Pandora, Spotify and the other services have. Also with a web player you are not just limited to Mac and PC you can listen on Linux machines too.

I really hope they announce a web player at WWDC. I mean there iCloud service has a web version what is so hard about Apple Music.

Can't imagine one will be incoming anytime soon, however based on recent interviews with Eddy Cue and Craig F, the new version of iTunes is apparently a lot more streamlined around Apple Music and makes the whole experience much better than it is now.

But it doesn't resolve the problem for Linux users.

Linux/web player should be released.

It may be major in that it affects 100% of you. However the Linux user base is way under 2% of PC users and probably 98% of those 2% have an iPhone or Android to access Music. Also many Linux users are Linux users to avoid the establishment. So to Apple it is probably not considered economically feasible to write a Linux version of iTunes or 'unique for Linux' detected web player App to reach such a small user base.

Where you are suppose to pick one.

I left this option for a reader as it doesn't matter whether they do a web version as a Linux quickfix or for the sake of having a web player.

So I repeat, this Linux hint was just a hint. In other topic I've highlighted the case of a worker who can't install anything without admin permission, so there is another use case for a web player.

better ? Spotify has a web player, and they're doing just fine..

If anything, it will be more accessible to everyone particularly those that have a PC without iTunes or Android tablet that u must use the app.

When I was a spotify user i never installed the app,, i always used the web version. because i never thought it feesable to install an app just to listen to music...

In matter of fact every music service I use subscription and free all have web players except Apple Music. This limitation and the fact that there Android app is so buggy I won't be subscribing after my trail ends. A shame since they have the best sound quality.

Forgot to say that you can't even listen to there terrible Beats 1 radio without using there POS iTunes player.
