any word on macbook price drop soon

yeah, i want to buy a macbook soon, but before i buy, i want to know if there's any word or rumours of apple cutting the price on the macbook soon.

Apple usually does not drop prices on Macs without an update. Also, I do not think the MacBook will get it's price lowered any time soon.

yeah unfortunately with as fast as they are selling I don't think a price drop will be coming for a while if at all.

Why would the price drop?

However, once Core 2 Duo comes out, the refurb prices of the Macbooks will probably go down. You can always look into that.
