Any word on optical drives clicking in Leopard?

My MacBook's optical drive (or maybe SMS) has started clicking once every hour or so since installing Leopard.

It's really irritating. I even rolled back to Tiger and left it on there for a week, and then reinstalled Leopard, and the click came back! It didn't click while running Tiger.

An suggestions? This is really bizarre and annoying.

i heard it on mine when i was on it at the apple store... theve taken it back for other reasons though.

Edit: Maybe just a coincidence... or maybe not?
