Any Word Press Experts here? (stand alone version)

I use Word Press for my blog. Anytime I edit a post I lose all of my basic HTML formating, stuff like paragraphs, breaks and such. It's quite annoying. Is this normal or is something wrong? FWIW I don't lose things like links, embedded photos, or colors, just basic formatting.

Are you using a WYSIWYG editor plugin? Which version of WP do you have? Does this plugin description address your issue? If not, I'll go from there to try and help.

It did that to me too. Just go to the options in Wordpress and deactivate the WYSIWYG editor. It will be HTML only and you will not lose your formatting. I have no idea why it does that but I dont need the editor anyway.

Hi,

the WP editor doesn't like Safari. No problems with Camino or Firefox.
