iPad Pro ANY WRITER/JOURNALISTS IN THE HOUSE? NEED WORD APP ADVICE.

It says it all. just odd that there are few if any msft Word clones for writing straight copy. any help appreciated. btw, anyone using WPS office?

I used Libre Office word for web content and the web design place had no problem transferring the files and content from 2016 until last July. They used PCs and office 365 programs.
i would save as in pages, and edit on the ipad away from my home office and edit to word- then open in libre office
then i saved as excel-word and they used the files i exported via email.
