Just as the title states:

Does anybody already have the 11.6" 1.8GHz i7/256GB SSD model?

This would be considered the "ultimate" 11" spec model.

From what I understood, these were only available from Apple online, BTO, and you can't get this configuration in stores. But I might be wrong.

I am wondering this as well. My 11-inch ultimate won't be here until Tuesday or so.

I do, I bought it today in the Apple store in Fashion Valley (San Diego). When I went in there, they had 3 configurations of the 11", the 2 base line ones, and the ultimate (1.8 i7 256gb). With student discount it was $1699.62. They seemed to have several in the store, I'd make sure to call the store in advance and ask if they have it in stock first.

There wasn't a line either when I went there, just a crap load of people everywhere.

I got one too

Got it this morning at the Lexington Fayette Mall Apple Store. At first they told me they only had the published Air configurations. I asked them to double check and they found one for me.

No Ultimate 11" here in Des Moines. I had them double-check, too. Mine is going to come in Monday or Tuesday as per the 2-3 day Fed Ex delivery. I'll update how it's running WoW and HD video and the like so long as there aren't 1,000,000 threads on it by that time.

Yes. I purchased it this morning from the store on 5th Avenue. They had the two base models and the "ultimate" 11" model in stock.

Yep

It's transferring data right now. I bought it in the store.

note: I'm sort of happy about this, as I really like the 11" (have been using one), but thought that the 13" would get the beefier stuff. Not so.

I guess they realized that the fans were going to go crazy no matter what, so Hey! WTF!!! :)

Picked it up in Phoenix AZ today. All our Apple stores in the area have ultimate in stock currently.

+1 for an 11" ultimate bought in store. In South Bend Indiana of all places!

 Sweet! Congratulations to everyone who snagged theirs. Keep the impressions and benchmarks coming. Also interested in your gaming benchmarks, heat (or lack of) and battery life.

Although I'm still migrating data, I'll post some preliminary results. I'm running clamshell connected to a 27" ACD. Time Machine Backup is running, transferring files from the old MBP and downloading XCode. CPUs are the hottest component at around 150 F. Fan has spun up to 5400 RPM at the fastest I've noticed, but was still relatively silent (More so than my 2009 MBP).

Thanks, man. We're eyes wide open for your findings. I also heard the 11" Ultimate might get slightly better framerates in gaming compared to the 13" Ultimate. Enjoy!
