20107 iMac, I7, 1T SSD. Flashing folder w/Question mark. Usually sign of SSD (or HDD) failure. Local store replaced both SSD and logic board. Obvious warranty repair, $1500 no charge. Anyone else had any major 2017 iMac issues? Thank god for Apple Care going forward. I sure hope this is an anomaly.

Really bad light bleed on my 2017 5K. Apple store took care of it.

Then when I got the machine home, the internal mic didn't work.

Turns out the mic is in a different spot on the 2017 and the Genius used the adhesive or glue profile for a 2015.

Back to the store and had that fixed.

So two major issues, one from the faculty, one from the spaced out brain of the Genius.

That screen replacement retailed at like close to $600, I believe, so yes, thank God for warranty and Apple Care.
