Anybody got iPad to show PDFs yet?

I just copy about 60 PDF's from iTunes to my iPad but I see nothing. I see all of my iBooks but no way to switch to PDF's. I've tried swiping in all directions but nothing. I copped them all and they are all checked in iTunes. How do you switch to PDF's?
It's clear to me that Apple doesn't want you syncing PDFs to the iPad.

Any PDFS known to the iTunes Library that aren't in the Books folder seem to not sync to anything. So you're forced to copy them to the Books folder by importing them from whereever they are already (even if they are in the iTunes library as PDFs) to Books.

To answer your question you were complaining that your book were not syncing. It was not clear that the books you were trying to sync were in fact known to iTunes as Books and not just PDFs in the library. I have many PDFs in the library that show up as things you can sync as Books to the iPad but they never will unless they are also shown as Books in the iTunes library.

Actually you weren't specific so it was possible to interpret your argument that you didn't need iTunes 9.2 to sync PDFs to the iPad.
Three options to choose from! Intact I have not synced my iPad yet! Just opened with goodreader.
1.copy files from your Mac/pc into the books folder in iTunes library!
2.email a PDF to yourself and open via iPad Mail app
3. If you have good reader or similar app installed go to manage files, select a PDF and use open with, you will see an option with iBooks.
After the first PDF file is saved in iBooks, you will have the books|PDF switcher next to the store button in iBooks.

This is easy. First close iBooks on the iPad. Then on the Mac drag your pdfs across to the iTunes Library. (They will actually appear under Books in the Library). Then sync the iPad. Open iBooks on the iPad - there will be a new button at the top left of the screen for PDFs - there they are!
You need iTunes 9.2, iOS4 and iBooks 1.1, of course.
You can then delete the same pdfs from Goodreader or whatever other App you use because iBooks is a much more convenient place to store them and they look great (books, magazines etc).

My bad. Didn't realize iBook was updated to 1.1 today, which made the difference.
Got it working after the update, but it seems to be very limiting with PDFs. It cannot flip pages, and won't display two-page view in landscape mode.
If I have PDFs in my iTunes library already which it shows when you select which books you want to sync it should sync them but it currently requires that I import those PDFs again directly into Books in order to sync them to the iPad. Any PDF outside of the Books folder regardless of whether it's checked will not sync to the iPad.
All I did was update to the new iBooks then drag and drop any PDF's I had into iTunes.
I then synced my iPad and they were imported to iBooks.
Even worked on my iPhone.

use Calibre (http://calibre-ebook.com/) to convert your pdfs into ePub books then you can read them within iBooks as if they were a normal book
Anybody who's tried this knows that Calibre doesn't do a good job of coverting PDFs to ePub files.
Agreed. Took about two minutes to figure out. Just drag into the goodreader app panel in itunes and voila! Just like you do for pptx's and docx's etc etc
