If so, please post your impressions. I'm thinking about getting it (probably won't, the price is nasty). I like this update because of the video and the LCDs (despite the fact the base GPU only has 128 MB). That has the LED backlight, right? How's the dithering on these? My ancient PB is very bearable despite being 6 bit.

Anybody got MBP 17'' 1920x1200?

The title of this thread is very misleading..the base GPU of the 15 inch is yes 128. However, there is only 1 model of the 17 inch. Both 15 inch MBP's have LED screens now, the 17 inch does not.
the 17" as of right now does not have the LED backlight. In my eyes since the 17" LED is coming, even updating the 17" was a waste of time for Apple.
