I can't for the life of me. I've looked at so many different explanations and none of em are doing the trick.

I pull the configureMe.js out, change it to a text file, change the location to my hometown, then back to .js and SSH it in.

Everything's great except the weather icons aren't showing up on the lockscreen. What am I doing wrong?

I haven't had any luck either. I got it off Cydia and edited the configureme file with nano in MT. No luck. Does it require a special library?

It is much easier to use WbApp but before that was out I did get it to work. The first time I deleted a bunch of stuff like the instructions and alternate choices but to get it to work I left everything alone except for the city/state and put it back in. You gotta make sure the "last updated" date displayed is different from the rest cuz the first time I dropped it in it said it copied but it actually hadn't.

I can get it to work but for the life of me, can't figure out how to edit or even see inside the guts of the configure.me file.

I'm using Cyberduck. Is that my error? I can use Fugu as well. I'm on a Mac. I tried right clicking the file but there's no editor attached to edit.
Can anyone please help me? It seems I'm the only one having this issue, like it's a given for everyone else or something. :)

EDIT: OK, I loaded a text editor in there. It's a for purchase one on trial. Taking suggestions for a freebie. Still not successful in changing Katra's to my town though. Gah.

Edit: Fixed it. This is gorgeous!

What doesn't work? I put it in and checked it off on Winterboard and it works fine. Make sure it's on the top in Winterboard maybe in case another theme is overlapping it.

For the configure java file, just open it and change the hometown, dont have to change it to a text file.

Winschp lets me edit files that on the phone without pulling it out first.
