If only there were some sort of communications device with which you could talk over long distances to shops, perhaps using some sort of handset, and see if they've got stock of products you're interested in. Oh, wait...

I work in a secure high security site, where mobile phones and out going calls are very restricted.

Wont be able to phone till around 3pm.

I was just looking for the 16GB WIFI model.

If it is in stock, I can take the afternoon off and leave at 12.

Sorry, had to go to a couple of meetings then it took a while to get through to them: Trafford Centre Apple Store has 16Gb WiFis. Better late than never, hopefully!

I just rung up to see if they'd have any tomorrow and the guy said they literally have none left - I asked if anywhere near here had them either and he actually said 'apple are out of stock', I checked and even all the PC World's are out. This is crazy!
 
I rang the Trafford store the other day (choose option 5) to reserve 2 16GB WIFI's, got email the very next day to say they were ready to collect. He said they were getting 16GB & 64GB most days but can't gurantee it.

He said I could join the reservation list but I didn't bother, I've got to go in tomorrow to have my macbook sorted out anyway so I'll suss the situation out more then. It's the 32GB wifi I want anyway, so I'll probably have to wait a bit longer for it? :confused:
