Anybody know if this AV cable will work with the ipod touch 2g?

I bought it for my ipod classic to watch videos and since it had an usb cable as well I could charge it using my external battery while watching videos, but will it work with the ipod touch 2g? I wanted to know since if it doesn't work I will just add the cable to my ipod classic auction and get something else.

Not certain, but my 2G Touch works with the cables by Apple that seem to be the same thing. I'm not sure if I'd risk it to save a couple of bucks... The Apple ones are $50.

I found this same item sold by another seller on Ebay and contacted a bunch of people who bought it and asked them if it worked. They all stated that these cables did not work for the video on their iPods.
