I accidentally upgrade and now I have lost the ability to switch back to the EDGE network. Earlier I had the option of EDGE and 3G. 3G speeds are not very good here in India and also call drops are frequent which is why I'm on EDGE all the time. When I need speed I switch to 3G but otherwise its EDGE. Now with the update, I have only 3G or LTE and its just killing the battery and also the call drops are too frequent.

Somebody please tell me how I can downgrade my carrier settings.

You could actually edit the carrier plist to include the toggle in your settings app instead of downgrading. Or I'm sure you could use a edge/3G toggle assuming your jailbroken.

add the repo v.backspace.jp/repo

install carrier update remover, uninstall carrier update remover, respring your device and you should be back to the stock carrier package

if you want to go to a specific version, you will need to find the ipcc file and update your carrier package that way using shift + click and choose the ipcc carrier file (you'll need to do something extra in order to do the shift + click option and choosing ipcc files)
