Anybody else found a use case for both? I tend to use air pods 2 for work for calls e.t.c and the pros for at the gym and at home. Lets face it not something you could sell given you have used them for so long.

Sold my AirPods 2 when buying my AirPods Pro, but if I still had them, I would definitely use the AirPods 2 for telephone calls and the AirPods Pro when listening to music.

I kind of wish I didn't sell the air pods. I would use them when walking my dog. The Pro's tend to "thud" when I walk quickly with them in Active mode. The air pods didn't sound as good but no thud.

I think the air pods 2 are still useful as the pros while are more secure for my ears are tougher on my ears. think it's good to have both if you have a use case for both

Sticking with my AirPods 1. The look and design of the Pro’s are hideous. They stick out way too much for my liking. I’m very satisfied with the fit and look of my originals and I’ll just wait till they go out.

I tend to use my AirPods Pros for really listening to music while blocking everything else out. For calls, listening to a quick video on YouTube/Twitter, etc. I still use my regular AirPods.

I think I’ll keep them both around. AP2 are good for regular use like walking out and about, and I’ll mostly keep my APP for when I’m travelling by plane or train (which is very often)

I actually did sell my Air Pod series 1's after getting a set of Pro's.
I sold my Gen 1 AirPods to a friend for $20 after two years use. I then bought AirPods Gen 2 and AirPods Pro when they were released. I use both depending on the environment I’m in.

I planned on selling my 1st gen, Apple just gave me new ones in September due to failed microphones, so the battery is great. The AirPods Pro arent so great for sleep so I've kept using the v1. They're pleasurable to wear while you're trying to sleep, the feeling of something in my ear just fades away. Otherwise I only use the V1 when the Pro's are entirely dead. I have fallen into the habit of putting them both in my bag. Quite excessive, thank you for the suggestion, Tim!

I bought, Airpods 2 and Airpods Pro at the same time and use them similar to you. Aripods Pro are used for the Gym or runs and the Airpods 2 for basically everything else.

Junked my 1’s when the 2’s came out and bought the Pros when they came out but kept the 2’s this time. Now I have 2’s and Pros. I used to use the Pros for travel and the 2’s around the house until I sprinkled it with HomePods so not needed anymore. Now I just grab whatever I feel like wearing. AirPods are essentially portable mini HomePods.

I regret giving away my original AirPods to a family member. I like the AirPods Pros, but there are times I want to make a bunch of calls while walking my dog in the cold weather and I used to double tap my AirPods with my gloves to hang up. The AirPod Pros require me to touch them or touch my phone to hang up.

You'd be surprised how much interest there is in the second-hand market for used earbuds, especially Apple ones.

I use both. I use the Pro's for Music and Games when I can actually take advantage of the improved sound quality. I use the 2's for long video sessions, phone calls, at work, or when I need something light. I love them both and I knew I would have a purpose for both when I purchased the Pro's.

Why you guys use the serie 1/2 for the telephone calls? The voice quality is a bit better in the 1/2, but in my experience there’s not so much difference, even if it has been reported many case of awful voice with APP.
