Since Dell UP2715K seems discontinued and I didn't like hp z27q I wanted to give Philip's 5K a try. But before ordering on-line I was looking for some information about its compatibility with my MacBook Pro 2015 15" (ATI version). To my deep surprise there is close to none.

UP2715K is "officially" supported, so seems hp z27q (it used to need some vendor patch but doesn't currently). I've had even both tested anyway in the store and they work out of the box (I am running El Capitan 10.11.6).

Regarding Philips, I've found:

* this guy complaining about seeing it as two 4K displays on Mac Pro 2013: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7907849

* this guy complaining about not getting it to work with hackintosh: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/philips-275p4-5k-monitor.197305/

* this Polish review mentioning that they only could get it to work at 4K resolution with 2016 (!) MacBook Pro: http://fotoblogia.pl/10556,philips-275p-test

So nothing very useful.

So I am looking for somebody that had purchased this thing, made it work at 5K with whatever Mac device (preferably MBP 2015 though) and could share some opinions. Best thanks in advance!
