I like it, but apparently I'm one of the select few that only uses Yahoo and not AIM.

I think it's a great app with huge possibilities once the Push Service from Apple is released.

Although a bit slow (1.0.1 made it more usable), both the contact list and messages (SMS and IM) are pretty well done. Pulse seems half complete, however. All it does is provide basic summary of your social networking accounts and fires up Safari.

Eh, I don't like it. It has potential, but like nutmac said, Pulse seems only half complete. It doesn't do any one thing really well, and seems to do a lot of things not well enough to make them at all useful. I feel the same way about this as I did with the Pageonce app, which theoretically could have been brilliant, but ended up being just too weak in everything it tried to do.

Also -- three unknown people appeared as "contacts" for me, and I had messages from each one. The contact names and messages were a mix of actual words and gibberish -- it was really weird. I can't seem to delete these people, which is really frustrating -- so instead, I think I'll just delete the app...
