Anybody with a galaxy note 2 have issues with email attachments downloading?

Just wondering as my dad is having major issues downloading email picture and document attachments.

Any suggestions to why this is happening? On iPhone/iPad it downloads pics very quickly but here on his note it just takes forever and won't download even on great wifi signal.

I don't think I can really help, but maybe provide some more info like what email client he is using.

Uses imap.. Via an outlook account.

I know this isnt too helpfull but no its always been pretty quick for me and really simple

No problems for me on my gmail or exchange

Install one of those free "download manager" app. Click on the attachment like you are opening it and the dwn mgr app will save files to your disk.
