Anybody with an M1 Mac try it with Steam / any games? Tabletop Simulator?

I just spent $4k on a mac with the 5600m and I'm semi impressed but not 4k worth. I'm debating returning and getting an M1 mac to hold me over at 1/3 of the cost but curious if it can play Tabletop simulator or similar?

Steam runs decently on the M1, although it does need some touch up work. Tabletop Simulator does run fine, although it can get a big sluggish at times. The 5600m in the Mac you already own will handle games (and Steam) better than the M1, especially since neither the Steam client nor most games have been optimized for the new SoC yet.

oh I’m aware this is a better machine for gaming, but if it handles tts passably then I can deal with it and get a ps5 or something all for less money
