Anyone able to get their hands on a 27" iMac yet?

I bought mine yesterday about 15 minutes after it was announced. I called Apple's 800 number and place the order. My 27" will arrive tomorrow by 430 eastern time.

love it, clarity is just superb there really is a difference from the 24"...when i restored from time machine i am amazed how different the resolution is..fired up safari to find there was acres of room to fill the screen due to it keeping the setting from the 24"....so first impression is WOW...only thing im picking up on is that the HDD does seem more noisier than the 640gb version on the 24"

When I ordered the 2.8 Quad this morning the sales bloke said they would probably ship at the end of November.

They probably wanted people to preorder to see how many people really want it and keep them lured away from the upcoming Windows 7. so they want you to be committed! hehe Whats up with the quad-cores and what use are they to an average college student not in digital graphics arts? I'm not a computer expert but what exactly are they useful for besides professionals in video editing, etc.

Wow, mine still hasn't shipped still says 1-3 days, I hope to have it by the end of the week.

EDIT: As soon as I checked it. apparently they are overnight airing it, and I will get it tomorrow, do I have to sign???
