No. Even when the phone is locked/asleep, when a call comes in you get the two choices to either answer or ignore. No fiddling around necessary.

Looks like you're wrong here...

Yes, when the phone is "awake", you get a choice of either answer or ignore.

But when it's asleep in your pocket, it wouldn't make sense to just wake up the device and let an accidental tap on the screen answer (or ignore) a call - you have to SLIDE to the right to answer the call:-

Pressing the sleep/wake button once will silence the ring of the call, and double-pressing will send the call immediately to voicemail (reject).
