Anyone buying the 3G from BestBuy??

I have about $200 in Best Buy gift certificates plus I'm also a Best Buy rewards Zone member. I also have a Chase card that gives my 4 points for each dollar I spend so I have a lot of points right now (30,000 points).
Does any know when the exact date Best Buy will start selling these? and if so whats the process? First come first serve? Thanks...

Don't know the exact date yet, but it'll probably be first come first serve. So if you really want one, get in line at 6am.

I'm trying to get it from BB too so I can get some Rewards Points to cover the State Tax.
If you go into the store cold it will be first come etc.
I believe if you check store availability it will tell you if any are in stock
I'll keep checking at BB.com and looking for it. I figure it will be online the night before. We shall see.

I will probably go to Mall of America. They have BB and Apple, but I would probably wait outside Apple.

I plan to pick up a 64GB 3G from BBuy. Just waiting to find out exactly when the heck they're supposed to start selling them... I'll be there bright and early that morning, then hopefully stopping back by my house to set it up/activate before heading into the office.

I'm actually hoping that it's on Saturday so I'll have the whole day to mess with it...

I hate Best Buy...I'd much rather go to the Apple store and wait with the fanboys!!

If the 3G release date is as unpublicized at BB as the wifi version - there's no need to line up reaaaalllly early.

For example (and I know many who had similar experiences) - I'm in NYC and near a VERY busy BB. I walked by on release day at 9:30 (doors open at 10) and there were 3-4 people outside waiting. In fact - so few people, that I made an impulse buy then and there to get one figuring that if it was as hard to get as people assumed it would be then getting one later if I decided would be rather difficult.

So I guess I'll just keep an eye out for the date. Im not going to take a chance. I think I'll just get there a few hours early and wait.
