Which Apple Watch do you have now?

I have the gold Sport Watch and using the Midnight Blue sport band that came with it..
I'll be getting the Sport Black link bracelet and classic buckle leather strap next to mix things up a bit

Here's a photo of my Apple Watch Sport:

So you have the black sport band now? Why don't you wear it at home? Not sure what difference that makes..

I take the watch off for taking a shower and sleeping.. Why would you wear a watch in your sleep?

Get the sports watch if you're worried about the bumping into everything. The watch is meant to be worn and used :)

I was doing yard work with my watch on, i.e., mowing, raking stuffing leaves/branches into the bags etc.

I can tell you a watch is going to get bumped a lot just because. The stainless steel is probably a good choice, since it's more scratch resistant with the sapphire crystal. You might want to try the classic buckle strap and the link bracelet. They're both comfortable and adjustable.

If you've worn a watch before, you'll have developed more of a habit of not banging it into stuff. Doorknobs and corners of walls are the most common risks for me.

I wear mine (SS with sport band) into the shower to rinse it off, charge it a while, and wear it into bed so the alarm can tap me awake in the morning.

I wear my watch ALL DAY. I only take it off to shower and when I go to bed at night. Then I put it on the charger. I put it back on before I even get out of bed.

I wash dishes with it on. I wash my hands with it on.

I only have sport bands.... as I have the space gray sport version and none of the other bands in 38mm match.

My old iPod nano -- the one that many owners turned into a watch -- wasn't waterproof by any measure, so I was paranoid about washing my hands with it. I stopped wearing it as a watch partly because of this.

And about the finish wearing shinier -- I'd be fine with it if it happened. Dark-colored watches tend to look more interesting if they show some wear.

I have the link band and sports band - i wear them for doing dishes and washing my hands - no issue. I only take it off when I shower and sleep at night (for charging). I will wear it if I'm just going to take a nap. I've had my watch since the April launch date. I ordered it with the ML but that's too big for my wrist....so I have the link and just recently had it resized by a jeweler because the 8 removable links weren't enough to make it stay in place. watch_side.jpg

If I remember to charge it before bed, sometimes I do sleep with it. I figure it would be measuring my heart rate, and I like the gentle taps when the alarm goes on. I'd only wear it with the lightest band I have which would be the Sport Band.

I wash dishes with it, shower and even jump in the pool with it - although I'm not sure if that causes the Watch to have no sound for some hours afterwards..

and can anyone sent me Photos of the watch band you are using i want to purchase another band

Plenty of other threads for that!
