I was a previous iMac g5 owner. There was a exhaust hole hidden behind the screen. Does anyone have any experience in attaching a mini fan near the exhaust to increase cool air circulation? Thoughts?

There's some google results of people drilling holes in the back of their G5 iMacs and putting a fan on top the hole. They say they get the temperatures down a fair amount.

I don't know why you're obsessing over the temperatures so much though. At 6 years of idling at 75c with for all day every day, my old G5 never got injured.
