So I just recently bought myself an iPhone X and I have noticed that ever since I activated my new phone, my entire iOS and MacOS has had this one recurring problem. Text seems to be changing into black boxes, or striped boxes. This seems to continue to become more common as time passes. Anybody know whats going on?

I just bought an iPhone X as well and I'm seeing an "A" then a striped box instead of a capital "I" when I receive texts. At first I just thought it was a glitch but it is happening from different people on different texts. I'm attaching a screen shot to show what I mean. I hope Apple fixes this as it's pretty annoying.

Apple already addressed it in an iOS update.

Thanks but I'm already on 11.1.2. I suppose it could be the sender's phone that needs updating.
If you are getting in content that you receive then it's coming from the sender and not you.
