If you are not familiar with what Pebble Watch is, it was the most successful kickstarter projects ever and should have been an eye opener for Apple that there was a very large market for those wanting a smartwatch that is connected to your phone and can give you alarms, caller id, texts, emails, etc just by looking at your watch instead of pulling your phone out of your purse, pocket, briefcase or whatever. Excellent for meetings, while in class, church services or what not.
It uses e-ink for 7 days of battery life and easy to read in bright sunlight. Cost is about the same as an ipod nano and wrist strap. $150 to pre-order with delivery in Feb. You don't pay anything until your order is ready to ship. Then they email you fir credit card details and payment. I am really looking forward to getting this. It works with both iphone and android. Don't know about windows phone 8 devices?

If you need to stay on top of things, Pebble can help with vibrating notifications, messages and alerts. Dismiss a notification with a shake of your wrist. Don't worry, it's easy to disable all notifications.

Incoming Caller ID
Email (Gmail or any IMAP email account)
Calendar Alerts
Facebook Messages
Twitter
Weather Alerts
Silent vibrating alarm and timer
Android users can also receive Text Messages (SMS) on their Pebble. Unfortunately iPhone does not expose this data.

Sure did! I backed the project pretty early on.

It's been great to see the project progress in spite of the delays. I'm more than happy for it to be late given the amount of work they seem to be putting in to get the build quality everyone wants.

I've been following it from the beginning, but only just today signed up. I just didn't have the confidence early on that they could get all the features integrated properly. They have done it though and I am impressed.

Well, I don't think they will ship the 85,000 from Kickstarter until at least March, then you have about 6 months of presales to wait through.

Unfortunately it might be a while until yours comes :(

It is fine. I know I am at the back of the line and will wait patiently. I may have a shiny new Nexus 5 or Galaxy S4 to pair it with by then. :D

I will be envious of guys like you that get their watches in a few months. Be sure to post up when it comes in.

I love the idea and the functionality, but the physical design is not appealing to me at all.
