Anyone else get popup about Skype on shutdown?

My 2007 iMac running el cap on every shut down I get a popup that says Skype in preventing the machine from shutting down please quit Skype.

It's really annoying!
I have to quit Skype or wait 20-30 seconds and it will shut down.

This does NOT happen on my 2012 MacBook Air running high Sierra and same version of Skype.

not sure if el cap issue or something else.
