Anyone else get ridiculously excited when you have an update available?

I know I do.

Example: I'm checking my email. I see a little red badge. My stomach gets a little reaction. I open the app store. Sure enough, yes, there's an update. I can't click on "updates" fast enough to find out what app needs updating. It's a cool app like Beejive or Facebook. I can't click on update fast enough. Its downloaded, I open excitedly... and if its a good update, the world is okay again. Reddit just updated. It's awesome.

Oh man.. anyone else get this excited? Maybe in the time that I was typing this, an update became available...

What I do like is the update all functionality, gets it done quickly...

LOL! Maybe not quite as excited as you, but I do enjoy seeing that developers are at work improving their software. I keep hoping I'll see an update for apps that simply don't work on 3.0 or don't work properly. Guess I'll keep waiting!

I enjoy that little red badge myself. This weekend was exciting for me, as it seemed like Apple opened the floodgates for updates - 17 in just a couple days!

I also get a slight tinge of disappointment when a couple of
days go by without an update.

What's a little confusing is when I know an update has been
performed but it has not loaded into my iTunes page for download yet.

Yes, i get really excited but i never see the red badges! i don't know why, i have to do it manually.

Thankfully most of the updates are small, I wasn't impressed with having to download a 500+ MB Myst update the other day.

Right now I am kinda excited. The only reason is because I know that more apps will be working better with 3.0 and not crashing as much. Otherwise, just another update to do.

I don't get quite as excited as that, but even when I get a lot like I did over the 4th weekend, I read through all their descriptions. I read through 27 last weekend lol. I like getting more free additions so when they add instead of just bug fixes yes it is exciting.

I love updates, but I no longer get excited about them as I did before. Or actually I guess there is usually just one update that I just can't wait to get, and that's Pocket Informant's update at the moment (necessary bug fix and cool icon).
