Anyone else get this error?

In another thread, a user posted this error from running the Apple Hardware test on his MBA, so I checked mine, and I get the same error:

"Alert! Apple Hardware Test has detected an error.
4SNS/1/40000001:IDOR-0.040"

I get the error every time when I run the test on battery power, but never when plugged into external power. I went to the Genius Bar today, and they ran the same test on one of the floor models, and they got the same error on both mine and on the floor model. He didn't have an explanation, but he's forwarding the error message to "Engineering". It may be a false positive, but if other forum members with the MBA 13" are willing to run the test, I'd be interested to see if you get the same result. My MBA has been running great, but I'm going to use it extensively over the next 10 days to see if any problems show up.

To run the test: on startup, press and hold the "D" key, and the Apple Hardware Test screen will appear. After it finishes its initial checks, click "Test" and run the normal, shorter test rather than the extensive tests.

i think this is normal.. it will give you an error when it started to find the test on logic board.. i believe less 50% of battery will cause an error try charged it to at least 80% and the error will gone. my guess is that error represents "insuficient power"

Thanks for the info. I did run the test at a 97% charge, though. It probably is normal or inconsequential. Good thing, since I looked at my order online, and it says that I can't return it because I got a discount. The Apple rep really should have told me that. Live and learn.

They probably did tell you. It was undoubtedly in the fine print somewhere.

It probably is in the fine print, but I asked him directly if I had 14 days to return it, and he said "yes". He told me about the restocking fee if opened and not defective, too. He didn't say anything about it being unreturnable because of the discount.

Anyway, I love my MBA, and I'm sure that apple will replace it or repair it if it has a serious problem (unless, of course, there's some more fine print that I missed, like, "discounted products not eligible for repair or replacement").
