I recently downloaded 8mm, which is basically Hipstamatic for video.

It's a pretty simple app, you switch film and lenses to create the desired retro feel.

But even if it is so simple, my mind was completely blown. The same effects can be done on the computer with a bit of tweaking, but this app is so easy to create such an amazing effect, and all the videos on it do look amazing.

Anyone else tried it? What do you think to it?
 
I just saw this app on some other site yesterday and was really curious about it. The only thing that prevented me from purchasing is that the reviews said it doesn't (yet) shoot at the 720p resolution, which should just be a standard thing for all of these video/photo apps now. Still, it's only a couple of bucks, so I may try it out...
