However - there was no OK to click, so I pressed dismiss and all has been fine since!!!

Yeah, that's what it is. As far as I know, it can't be done in the U.S. Are you in the U.K.?

It's a flash sms. Someone is messing with you. I'm not sure how to do it in the US but see the *go at the begining? That's the code to do it in some areas. I don't think it's supposed to show up though so maybe he entered it twice or something.

It's a flash SMS message.. a message that is designed to appear on the screen immediately. They're what O2 use to display the credit after every SMS/phone call, so if you've ever seen that.. what you've received is basically something similar. Just somebody playing a prank on you, don't worry.

OOhhh, if only there was a way to do this in the States. I could finally find a way to get my gf back for the time she taped Glad Wrap to the bedroom doorway at head-level. At 6am, I never saw it coming

It's possibly, we just have to somehow discover the code with AT&T. I'm sure with a little work someone can uncover it.
