I wanted to import photos on my Mac (I do it via cable) and it said it couldn't import these and these photos. And I've had this happend regularly since I've had iPhones.

In my iPhone photo gallery, it looks like this:

IMG_4983.PNG

Why does this happen, and is there any way to recover these, or are they lost forever?

My iPhone storage was nearly full by the way, so maybe that's a factor. But weirdly, these weren't the "last" photos, i.e. when the iPhone was becoming "fuller", but they were right in the middle of my camera roll.

Very annoying thing.

Would you happen to know which storage capacity those phones had?

I think one had 16 GB and two had 32 GB. Do you think this could happen when space is not available anymore?

Because I’ve always had tricks how to keep on doing photos, even though it tells you there’s no space available anymore (e.g. Closing apps and re trying to make the message disappear).
