Anyone else have random shutoff issues?

My ipad was fully charged and on when I put it on my bed. I came back 5 minutes later and it was off and frozen. No buttons worked. I had to soft reset to turn it on.

Has anyone else has this problem?

I know it auto-locks, but I haven't heard anyone say theirs has actually shut off.

Mine autolocks. But... It either shut off. Or froze completely when it locked and I couldn't get it back on without a reset

No, but I think apps randomly close on me sometimes.
