Ever since i upgraded to 5.1 I seem to have lost the push functionality with my company's MS Exchange account. Fetch works fine, but I'm not getting anything via push--I have to open Mail which causes any new email to download at that time.

Anyone else having this issue? Could it be a problem with my company's server?

I'll set up an Exchange account on my phone later and then edit this post with the results. If it worked before I doubt it's the server but I suppose it's possible that something is went wonky on the server about the same time you upgraded. Is your phone supported by the company and you can ask?

Edit: With push turned on in both Settings and on the Exchange account my messages arrive immediately. Are your settings the same?

Thanks. Yes, it's a fully supported phone that worked fine until recently. I'll ask at work on Monday.

FWIW we're on Exchange 2010 SP2 RU1. If you are too and this feature hasn't been disabled, you can turn on ActiveSync logging in your ECP to see if there's anything interesting.

I'm having the same issue.

Our company uses Google apps, so it's Gmail, but added as an Exchange account to allow us to use push.

Was working before the update, now isn't.

Quite annoying!

I seem to have resolved the issue. I went in to the Mail settings and turned both email and calendar OFF. I opened up email/calendar to make sure that my Exchange accounts were gone, then went back in to settings and turned both back ON. After that, my calendar synced right back up and I'm getting push email again.

Give that a try if it's happening to you and see if that fixes the problem.

Here's my Exchange issue since upgrading to iOS 5.1:

I have two (2) Exchange accounts on my iPhone 4s. My Gmail account (set up as Exchange) works flawlessly but my native Exchange account (work e-mail) stopped working after the update.

Post update to 5.1: (work Exchange account) I could view my inbox and view individuals emails in the inbox, but I was unable to send any emails. Mail started asking for my password after the update (for the affected Exchange account) but once entered, it failed to verify.

I completley removed the Exchange account and rentered all the account settings but again, failure to verify any information. I was hoping my password might have changed but it did not. Also, maybe the IT guy at the office (not very bright) changed some settings but the only difference is the new iOS update.

And I noticed this: when I receive a new email (any inbox), old emails from multiple inboxes (to include the non-working Exchange account) show up on the pull down notification menu. I clear these out of the notification menu, but they repopulate every time a new email arrives.

Anybody have any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Steve
