Siri has been extremely hit or miss on B1 and B2. When using "Hey Siri" nothing happens most of the time. I though my V2 AirPods were broken and the Hey Siri command wasn't working on them until I discovered that the phone was having the same issue. All my Siri settings are correct. I tried turning Siri on and off and resetting network settings. After tying different troubleshooting steps, it might start working again for a few hours and then the same thing happens. This behavior does not happen in ios12. I did a test and downgraded and its perfect in ios12. Just curious to see if there's anyone else experiencing this.

Same issues since B1. It will work itself out. I either have to unlock the phone, activate Siri with the side button or activate the screen before she “listens”. If the phone has been sitting, no go most times. Sometimes after using it a bit, it works fine. Inconsistent to non working unless I activate the screen/phone. Then she is fine with voice commands.

I’m having a similar issue with my HomePods.

I have a 10S. My siri doesn't work when I am in a large supermarket. It says "im Listening" but the slider bar just keeps going back in forth on the bottom of the screen. other than that I seems to work most of the time.
Also, when I hold the on/off button on the side of the phone I don't get a tone sound like I used to get on my iPhone 7.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

I keep telling Siri to turn on and off devices and she doesn’t listen or they don’t work. Now all of a sudden if I said turn off the lamps she claims there is more than one.

Yep, this is exactly what’s happening to me.

I’m having the same issue on my phone and iPad running iOS 12. I’ll say hey Siri, the screen light up and then the siri screen disappears. Turning on airplane mode and off has fixed it until the next time

Beta 4 and still having hey Siri issues!

I thought I was having this issue, but it turns out it was the Smart Cover I bought soon after I installed iPadOS. Hey Siri doesn’t work when the Smart Cover is closed. :-(

No issues since the last beta release. Hey Siri works fine. Her voice changed to American from British (my default) for some reason. The voice is also much nicer and more human.
