keep getting a network can't connect error, on the iphone, and ipad, both connected to itunes and via streaming.

having the same issue with apple tv U/I update. I'm guessing that apples just overloaded, but hope its not my own network...

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A406 Safari/7534.48.3)

Having the same issues, been trying to update for hours.

Yes. My iPhone 4S, iPad 2, and Apple TV are failing to start the download and erroring out. I've been trying off and on for a couple ours now.

Mine didn't work for a few hours today but then worked just fine randomly around 2pm pacific time. Keep trying.

I take that back. It just started on my iPhone.

When it worked did it start the download right away or did it sit there and think about it for awhile before the download progress bar started?

I'm having the same issue. Wirelessly it says software update failed and on my Mac it says contacting the iPhone software update. I have been trying all day.

My parents use a PC and both their iPhones and iPad updated right away.

Mine finally started on the 4S, ran for a few minutes then error'd out.
Started over again and started downloading from the beginning, ran one minute and error'd out again. Started over and waiting "again". Still no luck on the Apple TV or iPad.

I'm still getting the network errors on my end. I have been trying to update my iphone for about 24 hours now

Update: I was finally able to update to 5.1 but the funny thing is I had to sync it to my windows desktop to get it to work. I found that to be really funny.
