I just set up my Apple TV yesterday and am generally very pleased. But I have one big issue. The images on all videos (iTunes and other) are really dark. Not dark enough that I can't follow the action, but dark enough that I miss lots of fine deal in night scenes. Or, in Blood Diamonds for instance, expressive detail on the faces of the Africans, even during the daylit scenes.

Anyone else having this problem?

btw, I looked in settings and see a brightness adjustment *only* for HDMI. But I chose not to use HDMI because my audio signal goes to different equipment (a Yamaha YSP sound projector) than my video (to a Sharp Aquos EDTV).

Thanks.

Are you able to make up for this by tweaking your picture settings for the input you are using on the tv?
