Hi all,

I recently bought the Half-Life series (HL2, HL2 episode 1, HLS episode 2....etc) and while the game seems to work quite well on my 24" iMac, the screen resolution seems to change mid-game.

it seems to get bigger. Enough so that I can barely see my health and ammo count. I tried to go to options and change the resolution, but to no avail. Also, after I exit my game, I have to use the mouse to actually scroll around my desktop. The size of the desktop doesn't seem to thave changed, but I have to use the mouse to go over to the edge of the screen to get the desktop to move a few inches so I can see the dock (or headers). Once again, changing screen resolution doesn't seem to fix this. Luckily, rebooting does.

Does anyone have any ides why I might be seeing this in the game?

Thanks in advance.

Here's a half-answer / bump:
I remember there being some shortcut to zoom in your screen. You seem to be setting that off repeatedly. Change your controls for now, and try and find out exactly what combination of buttons is causing the problem.

Control+ mousewheel scroll

If you keep activating it, you can disable the feature (it's an operating system thing) by going to System Preferences > Universal Access.
