I never use it so I do not need it. If I ever need to get audio out of my 6 without Bluetooth I just use the lightning connector.

got my iPhone 7. Returning it. Need a headphone jack. Adapter too clumsy. Step back for Apple.

Agreed?
Agreed your 30 seconds of Macrumors fame is over. Don't you hate it when a company removes something you like from a product and hides it...Oh wait. Gone are the days of tucking the dangling wire in my shirt, wrapping wire around my neck to use phone in shirt pocket or while running with armband case, or ripping the headphones out of my ears all of the time. I switched to bluetooth long, I disagree but buy what you need.
28,29,30 bye...

I don't need the headphone jack since I don't plug in headphones all the time, plus it comes with one headphone adaptor to lighting and I will keep it on my Klipsch in-ear headphones & get one more for my Bose QC's. The only time I ever use headphones is when I fly or a rental car.

It's one thing to hear about the loss of the jack in theory. It's another thing to live with it. I suspect there are going to be a lot of frustrated customers over the next year.

I don't need a headphone jack. The company announced that this product doesn't have a headphone jack before I purchased it. I used my brain for 2 seconds and connected the dots before making the purchase. You probably should have done the same, OP.

Apple is going overboard a bit on removing stuff and changing plugs. Headphone jack is crucial for many people that rely on using it for their car/home stereos and of course headphones. At least they gave us an adapter. Apple just wants you to buy their overpriced bluetooth headphones that will give you brain cancer.

There's only one pair of headphones that I ever plug into my phone, and I'm just going to leave an adapter on them. Not a big deal.

My current problem is there's no iPhone 7 Plus units to be had. :)

Whether or not the headphone jack stayed, I really wouldn't have cared (and still don't) one way or the other. It's just a non issue to me, though I can understand for some people it would be.

Nope. Never use headphones with my iPhone. If they remove the audio jack from the iPod Touch, I may have to think about it, but my guess is they'll discontinue the Touch before they make that kind of change.

Oh, also I tend to research things before I buy them to see if they're right for me. I guess that's not everyone's cup o' tea.

Only use it when I fly or when the batteries die on my Bluetooth headphones.
